PINA STRIDE / REFERENCE

Measure first. Choose with the chart.

A familiar size is a starting point, not a guarantee. Shape, lining and the way a shoe closes can change how it feels. Use the chart attached to the pair you are buying.

01 / Set up a simple measurement

You need paper, a pencil, a ruler and a hard, level floor beside a wall. Wear the socks you expect to wear with the shoes. Measure later in the day when feet may be a little fuller.

  1. Place the paper against the wall. Stand on it with your heel lightly touching the wall and your weight evenly distributed.
  2. Mark the end of your longest toe with the pencil held upright. Ask someone to help if bending changes your stance.
  3. Measure from the wall edge to the mark in inches. Repeat for the other foot. Keep the longer result and note your width at the widest part as well.

02 / Read the correct length label

Our product charts reproduce the available reference for that particular shoe. Foot length means the length of your foot. Inner or shoe length describes a different measurement and must not be treated as the same thing. A size-system reference, such as JPN sizing, is identified separately.

Where a U.S. mapping is supplied for the shoe, it appears alongside its original size code. Where only size codes and measured lengths are supplied, those are shown directly. We do not guess a U.S. conversion. For unit comparison, 1 inch equals 25.4 mm.

03 / Compare, then check the shape

Match your longer foot to the product’s own chart. Do not add a fixed amount of room to every chart; some charts already describe a recommended foot measurement. If your length falls between entries, or you need extra width, contact us with your measurements and the product name before ordering. A length chart does not establish a wide or narrow fit.

04 / Try on indoors

Keep the shoes, soles and packaging clean while you assess fit. Check both feet while standing and walking a few steps indoors. Toes should not be pressed against the front, and your heel should feel appropriately held for the style. Stop if you feel pinching or discomfort.

A note about different styles

Laces let you adjust the opening across the instep. A slip-on depends more on the shape of its opening, so both length and instep feel matter. Boot shafts and thicker linings can affect how a pair feels with your usual socks. None of these details makes a shoe universally true to size.
